This site is an online encyclopedia that has a special site for elementary children.

This site gives lots of information on Roman and Greek gods.
Pebble Go
This site is for beginning learners and has information on animals, science, biographies, and social studies.
True Flix
This site is for experienced learners. There are ebooks on people, places, history, science, and nature.
Brain Pop
This site is filled with animation and has an animated video on topics relating to science, social studies, English, math, engineering, technology, health, arts, and music. Look carefully to see Brainpop Jr., which should be used for K-3.
Typing Pal
This site should be used only after your child has been registered through a media class for this site. The user name and password will be given out and attached to the child's planner. Please help your child practice typing every day. All third through fifth grade students should be using Typing Pal. The user name and password are the same letter/number combination. Ask your child about their password to get onto the computer. Here is how they should know it: capital first letter of first name, lower case first letter of last name the number9 and their lunch number.

Once you click on the blue link above, you then click on the guest ( it looks like a ghost). You can then search for a type of book or age level book, or you can just look at the recommended books that you see on the page. Open them up, and start reading!
